SMS-400HD is 4 channels HDTV Video Server (3 inputs, 1 output) with simultaneous Recording/Playback capability, random and non-linear access. Loop recording with real time clip protection is a SMS-400HD native feature. It ensures that vital shots are never lost and instant playback, replay, slowmotion or super-slowmotion is always available at a push-button touch.
SMS-400HD records up to 3 independent HDTV video sources or connected to the new Sony HDTV High Speed Camera HDC-3300 it performs Super-Slow Motion with HDTV native full resolution and full field rate (150/180 field/sec). SMS-400HD internal JP2K compression process is full 10bit Video precision with Intra-field compression scheme: no motion artefacts and instant acces to any field content. Full HDTV resolution 1920x1080 unscaled.
SMS-400HD is equipped with multi format HD-SDI digital video inputs and outputs, TimeCode LTC input and output. SMS-400HD is compact and contained in 5 Unit rack chassis, 48cm long (including HDDs fitted inside), ideal for live sport applications, replay, OB-VAN and news.
