On the new PDW-HD1200, Nelles said that “is our XDCAM HD deck 4:2:2 lowest cost and, like the PDW-680, offered as standard Interlaced DVCAM recording to provide a smooth migration from SD to HD. Both the PDW-680 PDW-HD1200 as progressive recordings can be played. This is a particularly important role for the PDW-HD1200 deck because it can be used as economic “into the air” to play the entire portfolio in a broadcasting station XDCAM recordings made on Professional Disc media single layer and double layer. Like the PDW-HD1500, The new PDW-HD1200 will have several inputs and outputs such as input / output HD / SD-SDI and analog composite output. Also, the PDW-HD1200 has an HDMI output 1.4 monitor allowing greater range of monitors”.
