Blackmagic DeckLink IP HD video capture card 

The DeckLink IP HD by Blackmagic Design is a powerful tool that offers 3 channels of video capture and 3 channels of video playback to 2110 IP broadcast systems through a single RJ45 Ethernet connection.

Engineered to work with top-quality video, this IP broadcast system supports capturing and playback to common video formats like Apple ProRes, DNxHD, and even 10-bit uncompressed. The multi-rate DeckLink IP connections support multiple video standards up to 1080p60.

This device is equipped with a 10G Ethernet Port supporting 3 input channels and 3 output channels, each capable of up to 1080p60 with 16 audio channels. It also features a PCI Express 4 lane generation 2 computer interface, compatible with 4, 8, and 16 lane PCI Express slots.

The Blackmagic DeckLink IP HD Video Capture Device supports a wide range of codecs, including AVC‑Intra, AVCHD, Canon XF MPEG2, Digital SLR, DV‑NTSC, DV‑PAL, DVCPRO50, DVCPROHD, DPX, HDV, HEVC, XDCAM EX, XDCAM HD, XDCAM HD422, DNxHR & DNxHD, Apple ProRes 4444, Apple ProRes 422 HQ, Apple ProRes 422, Apple ProRes LT, Apple ProRes 422 Proxy, Uncompressed 8‑bit 4:2:2, Uncompressed 10‑bit 4:2:2, and Uncompressed 10‑bit 4:4:4. The package includes software like Media Express, Disk Speed Test, LiveKey, Blackmagic Desktop Video Utility, and Blackmagic driver on Mac OS and Windows.

Linux users can access Media Express, Blackmagic Desktop Video Utility, and Blackmagic driver. The software driver contains built-in firmware that can be loaded at system start or updated via updater software. Designed for easy physical installation, the Video Capture Device fits into PCI Express 4 lane generation 2 slots, compatible with 4 and 8 lane PCI Express slots on Mac OS, Windows, and Linux. For Mac OS systems, a Mac Pro computer with PCI Express slots is required.

The DeckLink IP HD is compatible with a host of software applications like DaVinci Resolve, Fusion, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Adobe After Effects, Avid Pro Tools, Steinberg Cubase, Steinberg Nuendo, and Adobe Photoshop. This video capture card also works with numerous other applications such as The Foundry Nuke, Grass Valley Edius, Sony Catalyst Production Suite, and more.

In terms of video standards, the Blackmagic capture card supports a variety of SD and HD video standards, with audio sampling at a standard television sample rate of 48 kHz and 24 bit. It offers 8, 10, 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 in all modes up to 1080p30 and 8, 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 in all modes. The DeckLink IP HD is compliant with SMPTE 2110-20 (Uncompressed Video), SMPTE 2110-21 (Traffic Shaping), SMPTE 2110-30 (PCM), and SMPTE 2110-40 (Ancillary Data).

This Blackmagic capture card supports the Precision Time Protocol IEEE 1588-2008 (PTP v2), ST 2059-1, and ST 2059-2. It also complies with NMOS IS-04 Discovery and Registration v1.3.2, NMOS IS-05 Connection Management v1.1.2, NMOS BCP-002-01 Natural Grouping, and NMOS BCP-004-01 Receiver capabilities.

Lastly, the DeckLink IP HD provides real-time hardware-based colorspace conversion. Additionally, it supports real-time effects from software like DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro CC, and Avid Media Composer. It also supports a range of color spaces, including REC 601, REC 709, and REC 2020. All these features come together to make the DeckLink IP HD a powerful and versatile tool for any professional video or broadcasting setup.
