The Blackamgic Design DeckLink IP HD Optical video capture card 

DeckLink IP HD Optical is a long distances video and audio capture card. This  transmission an advanced broadcast technology offers three channels for video capture and three channels for video playback to 2110 IP broadcast systems.

Blackmagic video capture card utilizes an SFP-based optical fiber Ethernet connection, ensuring robust and reliable connectivity. The capture device is engineered for highest quality video support, capable of capturing and playing back popular video formats like Apple ProRes, DNxHD, and even 10-bit uncompressed.

Thanks to its multi-rate connections, DeckLink IP HD Optical supports a broad range of video standards, from 525i to 1080p60. The blackmagic capture card is equipped with a 10G Optical Fiber SFP+ Port, offering 1 x 10GBASE-LR. This port supports three input channels and three output channels, each capable of handling up to 1080p60 video and 16 audio channels.

It's designed for compatibility with PCI Express 4 lane generation 2, fitting into 4, 8, and 16 lane PCI Express slots. DeckLink IP HD Optical offers support for an extensive array of codecs. From AVC-Intra to Uncompressed 10-bit 4:4:4, the device is engineered for flexibility and high-quality performance.

Blackmagic Design capture card comes with an inclusive software package, featuring Media Express, Disk Speed Test, LiveKey, Blackmagic Desktop Video Utility and Blackmagic driver, compatible with both Mac OS and Windows. Linux users can also access Media Express, Blackmagic Desktop Video Utility, and Blackmagic driver.

The device offers an internal software upgrade, with firmware built into the software driver. This can be loaded at system start or via the provided updater software. Installation is straightforward, with compatibility for PCI Express 4 lane generation 2, suitable for 4 and 8 lane PCI Express slots on Mac OS, Windows and Linux. For Mac OS systems, a Mac Pro computer with PCI Express slots is required. DeckLink IP HD Optical supports both SD and HD Video Standards, accommodating various frame rates. The audio sampling adheres to the television standard sample rate of 48 kHz and 24 bit. With a focus on delivering high-quality visuals, the device supports 8, 10, 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 in all modes up to 1080p30 and 8, 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 in all modes.

It recognizes color spaces such as REC 601, REC 709, and REC 2020. The Blackmagic device complies with several SMPTE standards, including 2110-20 (Uncompressed Video), 2110-21 (Traffic Shaping), 2110-30 (PCM), and 2110-40 (Ancillary Data). blackmagic capture card also supports Precision Time Protocol, as well as NMOS Discovery and Registration, Connection Management, Natural Grouping, and Receiver capabilities. The processing aspect of the device is optimized for hardware-based real-time colorspace conversion.

It also supports real-time effects from DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro CC, and Avid Media Composer. The physical installation of DeckLink IP HD Optical is designed to be sleek and compact, suitable for a low-profile PCI Express slot. This ensures that it can be comfortably incorporated into a variety of setups without taking up excessive space.
