Boasting up to 40x magnification, this 2/3-inch HD TV Electric Field Production (EFP) lens for broadcasting use is capable of shooting from a wide-angle 14mm focal length up to a super telephoto 560mm, doubled to 1120mm with its built-in 2x extender. With a lens construction that utilizes Hi-UD glass and fluorite lens elements, it provides high image quality over the entire zoom range. Zooming speed is 20% faster than its predecessor due to the new Advanced Digital Drive Unit, which features an absolute value encoder that is capable of highly accurate position detection and output through 16-bit processing, making it possible to produce highly accurate virtual footage. The Canon 9.3-930mm XJ100X9.3B IE-D / LO Digisuper 100xs HD/SDTV Field Lens incorporates advanced lens technology for reproducing detailed images. Canon's Advanced Stabilization System has an improved optical shift-type stabilizer that incorporates a sensor inside the lens for detecting vibrations. Compensating optics are then engaged at a high speed to cancel out any effect on the image.

This lens also features CAFS (Constant Angle Focusing System) to counteract breathing, a phenomenon that occurs when focusing or changing the picture size / angle of view. Via a 32-bit CPU, the zoom is calculated and controlled to give an almost zero zooming effect of focus. The lens also features a 4-position turret.

Advanced Image Stabilization system

The XJ95x has an improved optical shift-type image stabilizer to counteract camera vibrations and minimise image blurring at long focal lengths. The system incorporates a next generation sensor inside the lens. When this detects a vibration, the compensating optics are shifted at high-speed to instantly deflect the light rays in a direction that cancels out the vibration's effect on the image.

The ZA12x4.5BERD-S6 with Servo for Focus and Zoom is a 4.5-54mm lens, designed to provide 2/3" cameras with an ultra wide to telephoto angle-of-view. The lens has a zoom ratio of 12x, and a 2x extender effectively doubles the focal range. The maximum aperture is a fast f/1.8 at 4.5-41mm and stops down to f/2.4 at 54mm.
