When used on cameras with APS-C sensors, the EF 100-400MM F / 4.5-5.6L IS II USM lens offers angles of view between 160 and 640mm on a full-frame camera.

The EF 100-400MM F / 4.5-5.6L IS II USM lens delivers sharp, high-contrast images, using fluorite and Super UD (Super Ultra-low Dispersion) lenses to avoid artifacts and distortion. The three-mode Image Stabilizer prevents blur caused by camera shake by allowing shutter speeds up to 4 stops slower than normal.
