The new KJ20x8.2B KRSD is a portable 2/3” HD Standard lens specifically designed to support low-cost image acquisition systems for a wide range of applications and users such as wedding and corporate videos, education films and documentaries.
At 8.2-164mm, the new KJ20x8.2B KRSD, covers a generous range of focal lengths. Along with the KJ20x8.2B IRSD, they are Canon’s widest lenses in the affordable 20x zoom class. MOD is 0.9M and the KJ20x8.2B KRSD comes equipped with a macro to allow closer subjects up to 10mm from the front of the lens. It also has strong rugged build qualities.
Outstanding Optical performance
The servomotor has a noise-suppressing construction to ensure there is no corresponding increase in noise. The newly developed advanced drive unit includes an interface function for chromatic aberration compensation. The Memo switch on the drive unit, which sets specific zoom positions for the Shuttle Shot function, has been changed to a push switch. The memo switch enables more reliable Shuttle Shot setup in the field where more consistent functioning of the controls is required.

Newly Developed Advanced Drive Unit
Together, these technologies and materials have produced an outstanding combination of cost-effectiveness and performance in the KJ20x8.2B KRSD. The lens has minimised axial, and lateral chromatic aberrations, which can be reduced further with �the chromatic aberration compensation function’ that is built-in to the Drive unit. Croma aberrations and geometric distortion are well controlled. The new optical materials and multi-layer optical coatings used in the lens effectively lessen the ghosting. The KJ20x8.2B KRSD also has a high MTF (modulation transfer function) at the picture centre that is well controlled right out to the picture extremities. The KJ20x8.2B KRSD ’s optical performance is well-balanced for both near and distant subjects, surpasses previously available lenses in this price range.

At 8.2mm, the new KJ20x8.2B IRSD is also Canon’s widest lens in the affordable 20x zoom class, and it covers a generous range of focal lengths, particularly when combined with its built-in 2x extender expanding its 8.2mm-164mm focal length to 16.4mm-328mm. MOD is 0.9M and the lens also comes equipped with a macro to allow closer subjects up to 10mm from the front of lens, it also has strong rugged build qualities.

The Fujinon HA14X4.5BERD-S HD ENG/EPF Super Wide Angle Lens supports 2/3" format cameras and offers features such as Quickzoom and Zoom Limit. Inner focusing allows the lens to move the inner lens group without altering its length, thereby ensuring stability while focusing. With the cruise zoom feature, you can set the speed to ensure a constant zoom speed.
For precise focusing, the lens with 3-mode fine focus feature shifts the sensitivity from the wide side to the telephoto side of the focus range. Zoom, focus, and iris can be controlled using a remote control via serial digital link for digital accuracy. The Digi Zoom Demand plugs into the lens remote connector located on the underside of the lens servo module and provides zoom speed control, one-shot preset, Quickzoom, focus or iris control, VTR, and return video.
In addition to a 14x zoom ratio and 2.2x extender, the HA14X4.5BERD-S lens offers Digi-power servo for production and other applications requiring high optical quality. The super wide-angle lens provides a focal length of 4.5-63mm (1x) / 9.9 - 138mm (2 x 0.2) and a maximum relative aperture of 1:1.8 (4.5-41mm) / 1:2.8 (63mm). With a minimum object distance of 0.3 m and a filter size of 127mm (P = 0.75), the lens offers a QuickFrame option and can provide macro/close-up images.
