TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PROMOTION

Sony Europe B.V. – Italian Branch Office - located at via Angelo Rizzoli 4 – 20132, Milan (MI) – VAT and Tax ID IT 10496660969 – (hereinafter "Sony" or the “Promoter”) organizes the current promotion named “Cash Back on selected Sony cameras, lenses, and accessories” (hereinafter “Promotion” or “Initiative”), open to a selection of eligible customers and valid from November 1, 2023, to January 31, 2024 (inclusive).

The promotion is valid exclusively for the purchase of products listed in this document (“Promoted Products”) at Sony authorized retailers located in the territory of the Italian Republic and the Republic of San Marino, including their e-commerce sites (hereinafter also referred to as “valid purchases”).

Sony will not accept claims for products purchased from third-party sellers on the Amazon Marketplace platform (listed as new or used) unless they are already part of the list of participating retailers.

The promotion consists of granting a rebate of the discount - to be recognized after the purchase date - for the purchase of a Promoted Sony product, subject to registration of the purchased product on the website www.sony.it/My Sony.

The promotion will take place in the manner described below.

1. PROMOTION VALIDITY PERIOD

The promotion is valid for purchases of selected products made from November 1, 2023, to January 31, 2024, inclusive ("Validity Period").

Please note that:

• Cashback claims can be submitted starting 30 days from the purchase date (earliest possible date: December 1, 2023).

• Cashback claims must be received no later than midnight on March 15, 2024.

2. TARGET PARTICIPANTS AND PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

The recipients of this initiative are adult final consumers who have purchased a promoted product from November 1, 2023, to January 31, 2024, from a retailer participating in the promotion.

Businesses, meaning retailers, resellers, wholesalers, companies, entities, and institutions are excluded from participating and will not be entitled to receive refunds. Therefore, invoices that include a VAT number will not be considered valid proof of purchase, with the exception of professional photographers with an individual VAT number.

The Promotion is only valid for the purchase of NEW products (i.e., not second-hand, returned, or refurbished), supplied and distributed by Sony at authorized participating retailers in Italy or through their e-commerce platforms. The complete list of participating retailers can be consulted on the dedicated cashback request form at: www.sony.it/cashback

• It is advisable to consult the aforementioned list before making a purchase to ensure that the purchase is valid for participation in this initiative. Sony is not responsible for any misleading information provided by retailers regarding this initiative, and no clarifications will be provided in this regard.

• The Promotion is not valid for any products for which the user has exercised the right of withdrawal or for which they have requested a refund for a return. Sony reserves the right to carry out appropriate checks with retailers, including verifying serial numbers, and to recover from the consumer if the refund has already been issued.

• Products with a product code and model different from those of the promoted products, as specified in the previous table, will not be taken into consideration and therefore will not be reimbursed;

• If the proof of purchase (invoice or fiscal receipt) indicates an order date different from the invoice issue date, the order date will be considered the valid reference. Order confirmations do not constitute valid proof of purchase.

4. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To request a refund, eligible Customers must have:

➢ The original receipt or purchase invoice (hereinafter also referred to as “purchase document”) attesting to the purchase of a promoted Sony product from an authorized and participating retailer. NOTE: In cases where the fiscal receipt does not show the product code, it will be necessary for the retailer to provide the Customer with an invoice indicating the product code or an authorized declaration that contains the necessary details for completing the form (see below).

- Details related to their own bank account.

➢ NOTE: The refund can only be issued to a European bank account in the name of the requesting party. No alternative methods for the issuance of the refund are provided, and no refunds will be made to accounts held by third parties.

To obtain a refund, consumers, after registering the promoted product, must follow the following request procedure:

- Connect to the website www.sony.it/cashback (the “Site”).

- Log in with their My Sony account, after having registered the newly purchased product.

- Complete the special form as follows:

  - Provide personal information: name and surname, address (complete with postal code), email address, mobile phone number.

  - Enter the following information in the appropriate fields: model of the purchased product, serial number, purchase date, and retailer where the purchase was made (selecting it from the dropdown menu).

  - A clearly readable scan of the purchase document (receipt/invoice) that clearly shows the name of the store, the purchase date, and the name or code of the purchased promoted product and, only in the case of a receipt that does not show the product code, a scan of the appropriate declaration or the invoice issued by the retailer.

- A legible photograph of the Serial Number taken using the original product, holding the product in hand.

  - Indicate the name of the bank, valid IBAN and SWIFT codes related to the bank account (held by the claimant) on which they intend to receive the discount refund; the refund will be made by bank transfer at European bank branches and will be executed in euros. The indicated bank account must be held by the same subject making the refund request.

  - Confirm that they have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions and the information on the processing of personal data present on the Site.

Once all the received documentation has been verified, an email communication will be sent to the applicant to communicate whether the refund request has been successful or to request additional documentation in case of missing data. In the case of incomplete documentation, the applicant will be informed via email or phone and will be granted a term not exceeding 14 (fourteen) days to resolve any anomalies and send the correct documentation in accordance with the requirements of these Terms and Conditions, otherwise the refund request will not be considered valid.

Notes:

• For the purpose of submitting the request, only files in PDF, PNG, JPG, or JPEG format can be uploaded. Files larger than 5MB are not accepted. The total maximum size of the uploaded files must not exceed 10 MB. The file name must not contain special characters, apart from the dot preceding the file extension.

• Requests for discount refunds can only be sent using the methods described above and within the Validity Period. Any requests received after this date and/or by other means (e.g., via email or mail to the address of the Promoting company) will not be valid and will not entitle the requester to receive the cashback.

• Refunds can only be issued to European bank accounts held in the name of the applicant, for which all the required data has been correctly provided: in case of incorrect or incomplete details, Sony will not be able to proceed with the transfer and therefore cannot be held responsible for the failure or delay in crediting the refund;

• The applicant must retain the original documentation to allow the Promoter to carry out the appropriate checks if necessary. The Promoter reserves the right to perform the necessary verifications to ensure the regularity of participation, as well as the accuracy of the data provided by the participant.

5. REFUND SPECIFICS

The refund will be made by bank transfer within 28 (twenty-eight) days from Sony's validation, or by third parties appointed by it, of the Refund Request. If it is not possible to respect this deadline, Sony will - directly or through third parties appointed by it – communicate this to the interested party as soon as possible.

The amount of the refund will equal the cashback value set out in Table 1 for each Promoted product for which a suitable Request has been sent.

The refunded amount is to be considered inclusive of VAT.

6. LIMITS

Each user, defined as an individual, may request and receive a maximum of 5 refunds, with a maximum of 2 requests per model even if included in a kit: for example, up to 2 models of ILCE7M3B, even if included in the product packaging named ILCE7M3KB.

It is understood that within the scope of this initiative, only one refund for the purchased Promoted product can be entered on the website www.sony.it/cashback at a time.

7. COMMUNICATION

The Promoter will communicate this initiative through communication materials in the stores of the participating retailers.

8. TERRITORIAL SCOPE AND APPLICABLE LAW

The activity will be valid throughout the Italian territory. For everything not expressly provided by these Terms and Conditions, the applicable provisions of Italian law will apply.

9. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The personal data provided by the Buyers will be processed by Sony and by third parties appointed by it for purposes related to the management of this Promotion. 10. CONCLUDING CLAUSES

• All products are subject to availability at the participating stores in the initiative: participants are advised to ensure that the model they wish to purchase is listed among the products included in the campaign;

• Internet connection is required to participate: the connection costs for registration on the website and any postal expenses for sending the original documentation (if requested) are the sole responsibility of the purchaser;

• Sony disclaims any responsibility for any problems with access, impediment, malfunction or difficulty related to technical tools, the computer, telephone line, cables, electronics, software, and hardware, transmission and connection, internet link, accessibility to online requests, and the mobile and fixed telephone network that may prevent a user from participating in the initiative. It also disclaims any responsibility for problems caused by the user's computer configuration that could affect the user's performance during registration;

• Purchasers who, according to the unquestionable judgment of Sony or third parties appointed by it, have registered in a suspicious, fraudulent manner, or in violation of the normal course of the campaign, will not be entitled to a refund. Sony, or third parties appointed by it, reserve the right to proceed, in the terms deemed most appropriate, and in compliance with current laws, to limit and inhibit any initiative aimed at circumventing the agreements, terms, and conditions herein;
