Dual I.S. 2 to 5-axis: captures intriguing and sharp photos
Taking incredibly sharp freehand photos without worrying about vibration is no problem with the Dual I.S. 2 5-axis (Image Stabilizer), thanks to intelligent compensation. The exposure duration is doubled by six times allowing you to use a lower shutter speed of 6 levels even with the telephoto lens. The Lumix DC-S1 eliminates vibration in both camera body and lens even with the telephoto setting. In addition to photos, you can also use compensation when recording videos, including 4K format videos. The incredible power of the 5-axis Body I.S. with 5.5-level compensation power eliminates vibration for all lenses, including classic non-O.I.S. lenses.
Recording 4K video at 60p/50p
The combination of Panasonic's 4K technology, CMOS sensor and Venus Engine offer spectacular 4K video at 60p/50p (QFHD 4K: 3840 x 2160 MP4) in Full-Frame format. Thanks to these advanced technologies, even fast-moving scenes look smooth and natural.
In addition, Lumix S1 is designed for excellent heat dissipation that allows for unlimited 4K 30p/25p/24p and Full-HD recordings.

Internal 4:2:2 10-bit recording (optional)
To meet the needs of professionals, Lumix S1 offers internal 4K 30p/25p/24p 4:2:2 10-bit, 4K 60p/50p 4:2:2 10-bit video recording with real-time HDMI and V-Log output with software code for upgrade (sold separately). 10-bit 4:2:2 video has a data volume about 128 times larger than 8-bit 4:2:0 video and can express over 1 billion colors. This enormous volume of color data is very valuable in post-production, making it possible to dynamically and radically adjust color and even transform daytime scenes into night scenes. In addition, it is possible to make 4K 30p/25p/24p video with a crop factor of 1.0x and full-pixel reading. Using the expressive power of a full-frame camera takes 4K video to exciting levels.

The Lumix S 24 - 105 mm F4 MACRO O.I.S. covers the wide focal length range from 24 mm wide angle to 105 mm medium telephoto. It guarantees a maximum magnification of 0.5x and a minimum focusing distance of 0.3m.
