Samyang 35mm AF F2.8 Sony Fe Lens

An extremely compact yet high performance lens, it is the ideal travel companion for shooting on any occasion.

This new compact and lightweight lens, along with the existing AF 14mm F2.8 FE and AF 50mm F1.4 FE lenses, further expands Samyang's range of autofocus lenses.

The AF 35mm F2.8 FE has a weight of just 85g and a length of 3.3cm, without front and rear caps. Thanks to the great experience in the field of optics, Samyang, has also developed on this new lens rich functions for exceptional image quality.

It is equipped with seven elements in six groups, including two aspherical lenses and another lens with Ultra Multi Coating treatment. This minimizes aberration and light dispersion, providing high resolution from the center to the corners of the image.

This new lens has been specially developed to work best with full frame mirrorless cameras with Sony E mount. When used with full frame sensors the focal length is closer to that of the human eye. Instead if used with Sony APS-C systems, such as alpha 5000 and 6000 the focal length is equivalent to about a 52mm, which remains one of the most popular focal lengths among photographers.

The autofocus works quietly and accurately and is ideal outdoors for hiking, sporting events and landscape photography. It also performs well in street, portrait and close focus photography thanks to its short focusing distance, only 0.35m.
