Creativity Squared
To ensure that the subject is the real star of every scene, the ZV-1F vlog camera uses an ultra-wide-angle 20mm fixed focal length lens, synonymous with perfect selfies and a wide field of view for framing multiple backgrounds. The bokeh effect, which can be applied to both stills and videos, also helps to further enhance the subject or give the image a softer look.
The Soft Skin effect optimises skin tones, smoothing and reducing wrinkles in videos and reproducing the natural skin tone in stills. The Auto Exposure (AE) algorithm with Face Priority adjusts brightness during shooting to perfectly visualise faces, even when lighting conditions are unstable. The new ZV-1F also boasts precision focusing and Eye AF for humans and animals, which fixes autofocus on the face and eyes, without being distracted by anything else. To change subjects, simply touch the camera's screen.
Not only that: while shooting, scene stability and sharpness are ensured by the Active mode[v] with electronic compensation, even while walking.
The Creative Look function, making its debut on this vlog camera, provides several pre-set options for creating the desired atmosphere, both in photos and videos, by adjusting tones, brightness, colour depth and other parameters. A total of 10 modes are available to give free rein to your creativity and publish content instantly, without editing.
The ZV-1F also features an S&Q mode[vi] for shooting in slow motion up to 5x[vii] and in quick motion/hyperlapse up to 60x[viii], achieving exactly the desired effect.
No content can be truly perfect without audio to match such stunning images. The integrated 3-capsule directional microphone, assisted by the windscreen, captures clear voices and limits noise, even in windy conditions.
A simple and compact product for vlogging
The ZV-1F vlog camera has been designed with user-friendliness in mind, allowing vloggers to focus exclusively on content. Weighing only about 229 g[ix], it is light and compact enough to be used anywhere, every day. The swivelling LCD touchscreen is also the most intuitive way to change functions and settings (including zoom[x]) with a single touch.
The new vlog camera is equipped with a Bokeh Switch button to instantly activate the background blur while shooting to highlight the face, or deactivate it when not needed. The Product Showcase option, on the other hand, is invaluable for shifting focus from faces to products, and vice versa, in video reviews.
The ZV-1F also integrates a self-timer[xi] and a light to make shooting even easier.
